Problem Possible cause and remedy
A programme cannot
be star
ted
There is no obvious cause.
Conn
ect the tumble dryer to the mains electricity
supply.
T
urn on the tumble dryer.
Close
the door.
Check whether the mains fuse has tripped.
Has there been a power cut? When power is
r
estored, any previously running programme will
restart automatically.
The display is dark and
the S
tart/Stop button is
flashing slowly
The dryer is in standby. This is a normal function and
do
es not indicate a fault.

The drum will turn at intervals in the anti-crease
phase.
The dryer is switched
off at the end of the

The dryer switched off automatically. This is quite

ormal and does not indicate a fault.

The interior drum
lighting does not come
on
The drum lighting will switch off automatically ...
... when the door is closed.
.
.. after a few minutes when the door is open (to save
energy).
If the dryer is switched on, the drum lighting will
come on when the door is opened.
