The dr
yer should not be installed
next to a refrigeration appliance. The
warm air expelled from the rear of
the dryer would increase the
temperature around the refrigeration
appliance's heat exchanger causing
the compressor to run continuously.
If it is not possible to install the dryer
anywhere else, then the refrigeration
appliance must be sealed off from
the dryer.
It is very important to avoid a build-
up of heat. The warm air which is
expelled from the dryer must be able
to dissipate. Warm air which cannot
dissipate could cause a fault.
A build-up of heat can be avoided by:
– Adjusting the screw feet so that there
is a gap of at least 20 mm between
the floo
r and the bottom of the dryer.
– Creating a gap for the dryer in the
kitch
en furniture plinth facing.
– Creating ventilation gaps in the
kitchen unit.
Suitable for pushing under a worktop
This tumble dryer is suitable for
pushing
under a worktop.
– The appliance lid must not be
r
emoved.
– The electrical socket must be located
in an accessible position near the
appliance.
– Drying durations may increase
sli
ghtly.
Optional accessories
– Washer-dryer stack
The tumble dryer can also be combined
with a Miele washing machine in a
w
asher-dryer stack. The appropriate
Miele washer-dryer stacking kit is
required.
