Preparing the condensed
wat
er container for Steam
smoothing

densed water which has
collected in the condensed water
container is directed into the drum in
the
Steam smoothing p
rogramme.
The condensed water container
must therefore be filled with water up
to at least the –min– marker.
The –min– mark
er is at the front left-
hand side of the container.

e use of the condensed water
which collects during the drying
process.
If the condensed water container is
empty

ou can fill the condensed water
container with commercially available
condensed water (ironing water).
You should only use tap water in
e
xceptional circumstances. If tap water
is used frequently, the Steam
smoothing spray jet (in the door
opening) can become calcified.

our the water in through the rings of
the spout 1.
O
nly use clean water. The water
must not contain any fragrance,
detergent or other substances.
Check the rubber seal from time to
time.
If tap water is used frequently, white
limescale deposits can build up on the
rubber seal 2.
Use a damp cloth t
o carefully remove
any limescale deposits from the
rubber seal 2.
Aft
er cleaning the rubber seal, push
the condensed water container fully
into the dryer.
