What to do if...

Opening the door in the event
of a blocked drain outlet and/
or power cut
Switch the washer-dryer off.
Open the drain pump access panel.
Blocked drain outlet
If the drain outlet is blocked, a large
quantity of water can remain in the
washer-dryer.
If laundry has been washed at a
high temperature, water draining out
of the machine will still be hot.
Danger of scalding!
Take care when draining the ma-
chine.
Procedure for draining the machine
When draining water from the ma-
chine, do not unscrew the drain fil-
ters completely or take them right
out.
Place a suitable container, e.g. a
Miele universal oven tray under the
access panel.
Slowly and carefully unscrew the fil-
ters to let the water out.
Tighten the drain filters back up again
if you need to interrupt the flow of
water.
Once the flow of water ceases:
Remove the drain filters completely.
