CAUTION 4 : Damage and Malfunction Risks—Too much grease gun pressure can put
grease in the motor and cause electrical components to burn out. If grease touches a brake or a
clutch surface, this can cause a malfunction.
• Apply grease carefully.
Apply grease as follows:
1. Remove power from the machine (see Notice P1).
2. Clean grease fittings.
3. If the motor has a grease outlet plug, remove it.
4. Add the recommended quantity of grease (See Item 5). Stop immediately if you see new
grease around the motor shaft, wires or the grease outlet plug.
5. If the motor has a grease outlet plug, replace it.
