3. Use a soft cloth. After absorbing an appropriate amount of cleaning agent, wipe
the surface of the equipment.
4. If necessary, wipe off excess cleaning agent with a dry cloth.
5. Air dry the equipment in a cool, ventilated environment.
3.7.2 Disinfection
Disinfection operations may cause some damage to the syringe pump. Disinfection
is recommended to be performed only if it is deemed necessary in your intended
maintenance plan. Clean the equipment before disinfection.
Recommended disinfectants are: ethanol (70%), isopropanol (70%), 2%
glutaraldehyde solution.
CAUTION
Do not use gas (EtO) or formaldehyde for disinfection.
The syringe pump and its accessories must not be sterilized by high
pressure or high temperature.
