3.4  Control Panel Position Adjustment 
Press the control panel lever in the direction as shown in the following figure. The control panel can be 
rotated left and right in ±90°. The control panel can be moved back and forth in 200mm, left and right in 
270mm, and up and down in 300mm. The control panel can be locked at any position.   
     
 
3.5  Connecting/Disconnecting a Probe 
CAUTION: 
1.  Press <Freeze> to freeze an image or turn off the power of the system before 
connecting/disconnecting the probe. Otherwise, system or probe failure may 
occur. 
2.  When connecting or disconnecting a transducer, place it in a proper position, 
to prevent the transducer from falling off or becoming damaged. 
 
3.  Hang the probe cable to the hanger located under the control panel to avoid 
excessively bending and damaging the cable. 
 
4.  Only use the transducers provided by Mindray. Aftermarket transducers may 
result in damage or cause a fire. 
 
3.5.1  Connecting a Probe 
WARNING: 
The transducers, cables and connectors are in proper operating 
order and free from surface defects, cracks and peeling. Otherwise, 
electrical shock may result. 
Perform the following procedure: 
1.  Keep the cable of the transducer downward, insert the connector into the system port. 
2.  Toggle the locking lever to the left side to lock the transducer connector. 
3.  Position the probe properly to avoid it being treaded on or becoming wrapped around other 
devices. DO NOT allow the probe head to hang free.
