  If you notice air leakage at the speed control of your MIRKA Sander, it could be due to: * A dirty, broken, or bent valve spring, valve, or valve seat. Disassemble, inspect, and replace any worn or damaged parts. * Incorrect assembly of the air valve. Remove the air inlet connection and reassemble the air valve (207) with the valve stem (202) in its upper position.

Why does my MIRKA PROS Sander have low power?

  If your MIRKA Sander is experiencing low power or low free speed, there are several potential causes: * The speed control might be set too low. Adjust it to the desired speed. * There might be low air pressure. Check the air supply according to the operating instructions. * The muffler could be clogged. Try cleaning or replacing it. * The air inlet screen might be plugged. Clean or replace the screen. * There could be internal air leakage in the motor housing. Inspect the motor assembly and alignment, and check the air inlet o-ring alignment on the motor assembly. * The vanes might be worn or broken. Install a complete set of new vanes and rotor (Code: MPP9006). * The spindle bearing might be worn or broken. Replace it with a new one (Code: MPP9001).

  Vibration or rough operation in your MIRKA Sander can stem from several factors: * The backing pad might be incorrect. Ensure you're using only a Mirka backing pad (125 mm (5") Code: 8292502011, 150 mm (6") Code: 8292605011). * Additional interface or other materials may be causing issues. Use only abrasive and/or interface designed for the machine. * The backing pad may be damaged. Replace it with a Mirka backing pad (125 mm (5") Code: 8292502011, 150 mm (6") Code: 8292605011). * Worn or broken motor bearings can cause vibration. Replace the worn or broken bearings. * Excessive vacuum on a flat surface can increase vibrations. Lower the vacuum of your dust extraction unit. * Low motor speed can contribute to vibration.
