Setting up your new mailbox
When you access your mailbox for the first time, a user tutorial automatically activates. This will guide you through how to record a
greeting, a name, and change your password.
 Press the message button
 Enter your Passcode when prompted. (For the first time until you change it, it is 1111)
 Follow the prompts to record your greeting.
 Follow the prompts to record your name.
 Follow the prompts to change your passcode.
Accessing your mailbox
From your own extension
 Press the message button
 Enter your Passcode when prompted.
From another extension
 Press the message button
 Press
* to back out of that user’s mailbox.
 Enter your mailbox number followed by
*.
 Enter your Passcode when prompted.
From Outside the office
 Dial the main number
 Press *
 Enter your mailbox number followed by *.
 Enter your Passcode when prompted.
Basic Voice Mail Commands:
While the message is playing:
 Back up in 5 second increments
*
 Pause (default 30 seconds) 1
 Forward 5 seconds #
 Skip to your next message 8
After message has played:
 Del or Discard 3 – You can press * immediately after deleting to recover it
 Keep 5
 Give msg. to a co-worker 4
Changing Your Greeting
 Log into VoiceMail
 Dial 8 for Options
 Dial 4 for Greetings
o Dial 2 for your Conditional Greeting
o Dial 7 for your Primary Greeting
o Dial 4 for your Extended Absence Greeting
 Follow prompts to record your greeting.
