(1) Loosen the setscrew (NO.3) of the upper thread tension regulator (NO.2) by a hexagonal
wrench.
(2) Adjust the position of the upper thread tension regulator (NO.2)..
(3) Tighten the setscrew (NO.3).
7-17. Adjustment of the synchronizer

(a) When the sewing is finished, the arm timing mark
A
and the pulley timing
mark
B
are matched with each other then, the sewing machine is stopped
the running. This is the normal condition.
(b) If theses timing mark
A
and
B
get out of the matching more than 3mm,
adjust the timing mark matching.
Hold the sewing machine pulley (No.1) by hand and insert the angle adjuster (No.2) into the
hole
C
then, turn the angle adjuster (No.2).If turn the angle adjuster (No.2) to the
clockwise, the pulley timing mark
B
goes up and if turn it to the counter clockwise, the
pulley timing mark
B
comes down. The angle adjuster (No.2) is enclosed in the accessory
box.
