5. Taking the Mobile Device out of the Optical Unit
The mobile device should be taken out of the optical unit when capturing full
body images.
To remove the mobile device from the optical unit:
a. Slide the Phone Release Slider at the top of the device to the right.
b. Push the top bracket up.
c. Detach the top bracket from the optical device and remove the
mobile device.

e. Please note: When the mobile device is removed from the optical
unit the image will look inverted. If you are using the camera for
imaging outside of colposcopy mode, you must go to the EVA
Application settings and uncheck ‘colposcope mode’. This will allow
normal, uninverted imaging through the EVA application.
To insert the mobile device into the optical unit:
a. Place the mobile device back into the optical unit.
b. Push the connectors of the top bracket into the slots of the optical
unit, and then pull down to fully engage the top bracket with the
optical unit.
