Thank you for purchasing the MODWAY SOFA.
Before you start, here are some helpful advice:
1. We suggest you spend a short time reading through this leaflet and then follow the simple step-by-step
instructions.
2. Owing to the size and weight of the sofa, we recommend that it is assembled by two adults, on a carpeted or
padded area, in the room that it is intended for. Approximate assembly time: 30 minutes.
3. Please do not use any tools other than those provided or recommended in these instructions.
4. Please do not throw away any of the packaging or the instruction until you have checked all the components
and hardware and the furniture is fully assembled. Please ensure that the packaging is disposed of in a safe
and environmentally friendly way.
5. Assemble all components loosely until advised to tighten. Depending on use, it may be necessary to tighten
the components from time to time, so please save the tools that have been provided.
6. Please keep all pieces out of reach of children.

Sofa Assembly Preparation and Advice

Initial Assembly Guidance

Read through the leaflet and follow step-by-step instructions. Assembly by two adults is recommended.

Tools and Material Handling

Use only provided tools. Do not discard packaging or instructions until assembly is complete.

Component and Hardware Lists

Lists Sofa Body, Legs, Center Leg, Bolts, Washers, and Allen Wrench required for assembly.

Step 1: Sofa Body Preparation

Positioning and Securing Sofa Body

Place the Sofa Body upside down on a carpeted or padded surface for initial setup.

Accessing Internal Components

Open the zipper on the bottom to retrieve legs, center leg, and the hardware package.

Step 2: Attaching Legs

Attaching Outer Legs

Attach 4 legs to the sofa body corners using bolts, spring washers, and flat washers.

Attaching Center Leg

Attach the center leg to the middle of the sofa body using bolts, spring washers, and flat washers.

Tightening Hardware

Use the Allen Wrench to tighten all bolts clockwise securely.

Step 3: Finalizing Assembly

Securing Bottom Zipper

Close the zipper on the bottom of the Sofa Body after all components are attached.

Turning Over the Sofa

Carefully turn the assembled sofa upright by two adults.
