Observe the engineering instructions in the manual
“EMC Engineering Guidelines for Automation
Systems” (AWB27-1287GB).
Connections Screened data and signal cables
왘 Route screened data and signal cables on the left
and the right of the device along the shortest
possible distance and connect the screen braid
to the ground terminal using a low-impedance
connection and large contact areas (See Fig. 4,
item
).
왘 Connect the screen braid with the metal sleeve of
the plug connector (DIN plugs)

왘 Insulate the end of the screen braid as close as
possible to the signal cable entry
