MODULATION (Continued)
DELETING A MODULATION PATH
To delete an existing modulation path, select the appropriate modulation slot by rotating the Master
Encoder and press the DELETE button in Center Console. The modulation path will be deleted, and the
existing modulation paths residing in higher numbered slots numbers will move to ll the gap. So if the
modulation path in slot 4 is deleted, the path that was in slot 5 will become the new number 4, etc.
FILTERING THE MODULATION LIST BY SOURCE OR DESTINATION
As the number of modulation paths within a specic Modulation Matrix expands, ltering the list
by modulation source or modulation destination can make it easier to nd and edit a particular
modulation path by displaying an abridged list. When the Modulation Matrix is opened in this manner,
the second Soft Button from the left (CLEAR SRC FILTER / CLEAR DEST FILTER) can be pressed to
clear any ltering of the Modulation Matrix list.
TIP: Notice that when modulation paths appear in the ltered list, they retain their existing slot numbers,
which can also make it easy to nd and reference them in the future.
FILTERING BY SOURCE
Holding the SHIFT button while pressing
any one of the DEST buttons on the Front
Panel (LFOs, EGs) will open the Modulation
Matrix, but showing only the modulation
paths using that module as a source. In the
example above, the SHIFT button was held
while the LFO 1 DEST button was selected,
and only the modulation paths using LFO 1
as a modulation source are shown. Pressing
the CLEAR SRC FILTER Soft Button will
clear the source lter, and all modulation
paths in the Modulation Matrix will be
displayed.
FILTERING BY DESTINATION
Holding the SHIFT button while pressing any one of the MORE buttons on the Front Panel
(OSCS, FILTERS, etc.) will open the Modulation Matrix, but showing only the modulation paths
whose destination is included in the selected module. Pressing the CLEAR DEST FILTER Soft
Button will clear the destination lter, and all modulation paths in the Modulation Matrix will
be displayed.
