15 Compensators
For description of functionality and for detailed information and instructions about the
compensators of radial piston pumps the information and instructions of the User Manual RKP
are valid and must be adhered.
See, Chap. 12.6 Supplemental Documentation
The compensator options D and E (radial piston pump with electrically operated servo
valve, electrical stroke feedback and on-board electronic) and the compensator option N
(Dual displacement – change of displacement by an electrically operated directional control
valve) are not certified for the operation in hazardous locations.
16 Multiple Pump Arrangements
The radial piston pump can be axially combined to multi-pump arrangements, driven by one shaft. Additional
pump stages can be radial piston pumps (at maximum with the same size as pump stage 1) or a 3
rd
party
pump with usage of adapter flange to SAE-A, SAE-B or SAE-C.
In case of multiple pump arrangements that consist of several stages of radial piston pumps, the
complete arrangement has to comply with device group and category according to directive
2014/34/EU.
See, Chap. 13.3 Obligations for Safe Operation
For dimensioning of the permissible through drive torque and for usage of adapter flanges the
information and instructions, given in the User Manual RKP, must be adhered.
See, Chap. 12.6 Supplemental Documentation
For maximum permissible shaft power of radial piston pumps see table 5. For all operating phases
of the pumps, the maximum permissible shaft power must not be exceeded.
See, Chap. 12.6 Supplemental Documentation
