Conventional Phone Operation Feature
The conventional telephone feature allows you to use
your conventional radio similar to a standard telephone.
To make a call, press the (Phone) button. The
display will show PH with the current conventional
system.
In this mode, for every number entered from the
keypad including * and # buttons, the corresponding
DTMF tone will be sent.
Type the relevant access code to enter the telephone
system. If the access is successful, you will hear dial
tone.
Dial the required telephone number. Each digit is
sent on each key press.
If the calling party answers, carry on with the
conversation in the usual way. Press the PTT to talk
and release the PTT to listen.
When you have completed your conversation, or if the
number you have dialed is busy, or does not answer,
press the (Home) button to hang up.
