9. Press any of the 18 front panel buttons, the three programmable side buttons, the side
PTT button, or the top orange button. A good button press will produce a single beep
when pressed and another beep when released.
10. Rotate the On/Off/Volume control or Channel/Talkgroup/Zone/Menu knob in either
direction. A series of beeps indicates proper operation.
11. Press ‘side button 2’ for 3 seconds in the front panel test mode to return the radio to the
RF Test mode.
12. Turn radio off to exit test mode.
