Setting the Operating Mode
MICOM-2E offers three operating mode options:
• SSB - single side band
• AME - amplitude modification equivalent
• PLT - pilot mode
To set the operating mode:
1. Enter the Radio Programming menu (steps 1-4 on
page 29).
2. Press [CHAN].
3. Press to scroll to the MODE option.
4. Press [MODE].
5. Press the function key beneath the mode of your choice.
6. Press
to confirm, to cancel.
