•Displayiconsandsoftkeysturngreen.
•AnycallinprogressisdroppeduponenteringLocalSiteTrunkingMode.
Ifconguredbyyourserviceprovider,thismessage/alertisperiodicallyrepeatedtoremindyouthatyourradiois
stilloperatinginLocalSiteTrunkingMode.Thefollowingfeaturesareavailable:
•Registration
•Attachment
•GroupCall
•EmergencyCall
•EmergencyAlarm
Yourserviceprovidercanturnon/offallthevisualandaudioindications,whenyouenterLocalSite
TrunkingMode.
3.3.2ExitingLocalSiteTrunking
Whenthelinkwiththecentralnetworkcontrollerisreestablished,yourradioexitsLocalSiteTrunking,andthe
followingoccurs:
•YourradioplaysanExitingLocalSiteTrunkingtone.
•AnycallinprogressduringLocalSiteTrunkingisdropped.
•Displayiconsandsoftkeysturnblue.
Yourserviceprovidercanturnon/offallthevisualandaudioindications,whenyouexitLocalSite
TrunkingMode.
3.4DirectModeOperation
DirectModeOperationisamodeofsimplexoperationwhereradioscommunicateusingradiofrequencieswhichare
outsidethecontroloftheswitchingandmanaginginfrastructure.
