Locking or Unlocking the Keypad
Locking Keypad Lock
Procedure:
Press and hold the Menu/Lock button until the radio displays Keypad Lock icon.
When in lock mode, you can turn the radio on and off, adjust the volume, receive, transmit, send
a call tone, send the Emergency Alert, turn the LED flashlight on and off, and monitor channels.
All other functions are locked.
Unlocking Keypad Lock
Procedure:
To unlock the radio, press and hold the Menu/Lock button until the Keypad Lock icon
disappears.
