Level 1 and 2 Service Manual Disassembly
Removing and Replacing the Transceiver PC Board
1. Remove the battery cover, battery, SIM card, antenna, and rear housing as
described in the procedures.
2. Insert the flat end of the disassembly tool under the flip flex connector and
gently pry up as shown in Figure 9.
3. Insert the flat end of the disassembly tool between the front housing and the
transceiver PC board as shown in Figure 9.
4. Gently pry up and lift the transceiver PC board out of the front housing.
5. To replace, insert the top of the circuit board into the top of the front housing
and gently press the bottom of the circuit board into the front housing.
6. Align the flip flex connector onto the transceiver board connector and gently
press it into place.
7. Replace the rear housing, SIM card, battery, antenna and battery cover as
described in the procedures.
