5 Checking and operation of MLog during ongoing operation
6 Transport evaluation
NOTE
Flashing of this LED indicates that the device has
determined at least one instance where the limit
value has been exceeded.
(5) The LEDs go off again automatically to save
power.
(6) On the display of the IM100 you see the battery
status and possibly existing alarm entries.
NOTE
If the battery voltage drops below a certain level,
any GSM, GPS and Bluetooth modules optionally
available are deactivated to ensure the MLog’s
basic functions continue to work.
This means that any limit values for acceleration,
temperature and relative humidity which are
exceeded continue to be identied and saved,
and any time-controlled recordings are made.
(7) Marks can be set at any time, e.g. for a transfer of
risks during the transport or handover to a differ-
ent sphere of responsibility (see Section 3.8 Set
user marker). To do this, press and hold the “OFF”
button and then briey press the “ON” button.
The red LED lights up for 2 seconds. A new event
with time stamp is written in the logbook. The next
marker can then be set as soon as the red LED
goes off again.
(8) It may be necessary to replace the batteries on
transports which take a long time (see Section 3.7
Battery replacement). To do this, press and hold
the “OFF” button for more than 4 seconds. You
now have a 30-minute time window to take the old
batteries out of the MLog and a further 30 minutes
to insert new batteries.
NOTE
Note that when replacing the battery, the USB
cable must be disconnected from the computer.
This ensures that the prognosis of the remaining
battery runtime is working correctly.
Pressing the “OFF” button again (> 4 seconds)
conrms that replacement of the batteries has tak-
en place. Otherwise the reactivation takes place
automatically after 30 minutes.
6 Transport evaluation
When a transport has been completed, the data deter-
mined by the MLog during the transport can be read
and evaluated.

(1) Use the “ON” key on the MLog to check whether the
timer has already ended the recording. If the record-
ing is still active, it should be ended via the MLog
Analyser before removal to prevent any shocks due
to the removal process from being recorded.
(2) Remove the device from the transport good.

(3) Then connect the MLog to the PC via the USB
cable.
(4) Launch the Analyser software and establish the
connection to the MLog.
(5) Read the logbook using the program function
“Read out Log Book from MLog”.
NOTE
You should now backup the logbook to the hard
drive of your PC using the program’s “Save”
function.
(6) In the middle program window in the logbook,
expand the entry “Log Book Entries – Records”.
Click on this entry to select it.
(7) Then select the program function “Show Measur-
ing Data as Diagram.” A program window opens
with a diagram showing a curve for each sensor
with the measured values as a function of the
recording’s entire duration.
