MSA altair 5 Directions

DIRECTIONS FOR THE 4 MINUTE CHECK
For the Safety event at the OWEA Operations Challenge we will be using an MSA Altair 5 Gas Meter. If you
have any questions about the meter you may contact Ed Nutter, Safety Event Coordinator at
enutter@newarkohio.net or 740.670.7950
a. Attach hose to the BACK and top of the meter (hose attaches using a quick connect fitting)
b. Press and HOLD the middle button until “MSA” appears on screen
c. Verbalize “GAS METER ON”
