Analogue-switch
An analogue switch provides infi-
nite variation of set values in the
transmitter, and as such the des-
ignation „switch“ is not quite accu-
rate. Analogue switches are pro-
grammed under Switches in Menu
2. They are operated by the nor-
mal transmitter controls.
Base type
Pre-programmed models covering
the most common applications.
Battery
threshold
The voltage at which the battery
monitor starts beeping. Accessible
and variable in the
?/@+i,+i
under
IQIEZiDNEFJN@QK
Channel-Check
A monitor receiver built into the
transmitter used to check your
chosen transmission channel.
The RF module only switches on
if your selected channel is not
already in use.
Control switch
Switched function which is actu-
ated when a signal exceeds or
falls below a (variable) switching
threshold. Six such control
switches can be programmed.
Co-Pilot
Speech output module. Informa-
tion from the timer, lap-counter,
rev-counter and flight mode are
spoken via an earphone. Useful
for competition practice.
Direct throttle
Throttle control directly via the
transmitter control „IDLE-UP“.
When selected the throttle is not
affected by collective pitch.
Flare
Mixes collective pitch into pitch-
axis. Prevents ballooning up when
collective pitch is reduced.
Flight mode
Transmitter control settings for
five different flight situations can
be stored for each model and
activated with switches.
Idle-Up
Maximum value for collective pitch
input in throttle, limited to a vari-
able extent by the transmitter
control „IDLE-UP“.
Menu-ring
Arrangement of the five main
menus in the transmitter. From
Menu 5 you can move directly to
Menu 1 and vice versa.
Monitor LED
LED = (light emitting diode)
Red/yellow/green LED adjacent to
the ON/OFF switch. Shows the
state of the RF module.
red RF module OFF
yellow Channel-Check active
green RF module ON
Operating
screen
The state of the transmitter screen
in normal operations (when you
are not programming the system).
Shows model name, flight mode,
frequency band, channel number,
battery voltage and timer in vari-
ous user-selectable combinations.
Select keys
The four buttons in the
centre of the key pad.
Select symbol
[iSi
Marks select or adjust fields
-i]i
and/or menu points on the
screen which can be activated
using the associated select key.
Swashplate
rotation
Virtual swashplate rotation
Switch
On the PROFI mc 4000 switches
can be used in two ways:
1. As transmitter controls
In this case the switch must be
connected to one of the control
sockets G to M.
2. As switches
In this case the switch must be
connected to one of the switch
sockets 1 to 12.
Transmitter
control
Physical elements which are used
to control models
Sticks A to D
Sliders E and F
3-position switch G
Extra controls can be connected
to sockets H to
V-ROLL, V-NICK
V = virtual
Mixers for helicopters which per-
mit virtual rotation of the swash-
plate.
