OPERATION
The following section is intended to assist the operator with
operation of the trowel. It is extremely important to read
this section carefully before attempting to use the trowel
in the eld. DO NOT operate the trowel until this section is
thoroughly understood.
STARTING THE ENGINES
1. While standing in front of the trowel, grasp one of the
grab bars and place a foot on one of the steps. Lift
yourself onto the trowel platform and sit down in the
operator’s seat (Figure 18).
CAUTION
ALWAYS wear approved eye and hearing
protection while operating the trowel.
WARNING
NEVER operate the trowel in a conned
area or enclosed area structure that does
not provide an ample, free ow of air.
NOTICE
This trowel is equipped with a safety seat switch. The
trowel blades will not rotate unless an operator is sitting
in the seat or the drive bypass function is enabled.
NOTICE
DO NOT grab the steering control joysticks to lift
yourself onto the trowel. Damage to the joysticks may
result. ALWAYS use the grab bars to lift yourself onto
the trowel.

2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch
