TheML-seriesdehumidiersaredesignedsothatoptionalproductscanbeeasilyttedtothem.
Thisappendixcontainsinformationaboutalloptionalcongurationsandcomponentsthatcanbeadded
whenorderingMLdehumidiers.
NOTE!Voltagedropscanoccurwhenusingexcessivelylongcables.Ifthereislessthan20Vsupplyatthe
connectionpointsofthehumiditysensor(onthedehumidier),aseparaterelaycontrolledbythehumiditysensor
mustbeused.
1.2Runningtimemeter
Therunningtimemeterrecordsthetotalnumberofhoursthedehumidierhasrun.Thelasttwodigits
representapercentagepartofanhour.Therunningtimemetercannotbereset.
Example:0000475representsfourhoursand45minutes.
1.3Rotorstopalarm
Anoptionalreedswitchmomentarilysendsapulseonceperrevolutionoftherotor,i.e.onceevery8
minutes.Theswitchisactivatedbyamagnetmountedontherotortoproducea0VDCpulse.
Ifthepulsedoesnotoccurwithin10minutes,thedrivemotorandfaultwarningindicatorsashtoshowthat
afaulthasoccurred.Theunitisautomaticallyswitchedoff.
1.4Blockedlteralarm
Adifferentialpressureswitchcanbettedtotheprocessairandreactivationairlters.Whenthepressure
differentialacrossthelterexceedsthebelowpresetvalue,theswitchcloses,whichsendsamessage
(blockedlter)tothePCBcard.Theprocessairorreactivationairlterindicatorlightsuptoindicatethe
specicblockedlter.

ML420-MLT1400dehumidierscanbeequippedwithexternallterboxesM5orF7.
Forinstructionsonhowtoattachthelterboxtotheprocessairinletorreactivationairinlet,refertothe
instructionssuppliedwiththedeliveryofthelterbox.
Thediagrambelowshowsthepressuredrop(Pa)acrossthelterinthelterbox.
