3 Installation
3.1 Safety
WARNING!
To prevent personal injuryordamage tothe dehumidifier,alwaysuseapprovedliftingequipment.
CAUTIO N!
Neverclimbon,or place anyobjectson the dehumidifier.
WARNING!
Installation, adjustments,maintenanceandrepairsmustonlybe carriedout byqualified personnelwhoare
awareoftherisks involved when workingwithequipment operatingwithhigh electricalvoltage andhighmachine
temperatures.
3.2 Movingthedehumidifier
Thedehumidier must be handled with care. All panel doors must be closed during transportation. Use
a fork lift or pallet loader to m ove the dehumidier. The forklift/pallet loader must be equipped with
extended forks to ensure even weight distribution.

3.3 Inspectionofdelivery
1. Inspect the deliver y and compare with the delivery note, order conr mation or other deliver y
documentation. Make sure that everything is included and nothing is damaged.
2. Contact Munters immediately if the delivery is not complete in order to avoid ins tallation delays.
3. Rem ove all packaging material from the unit, and make sure that no damage has occurred during
transportation.
4. Any visible damage must be repor ted in writing to Munters within 5 days and prior to installation of
the unit.
5. Dispose of the packaging material according to local regulations.
If the unit is to be put into storage prior to installation, see section 3.5, Storing the dehumidier.
