7.2 Faulttracinglist,dehumidifier
Before contacting Munters, go t hrough the fault tracing list below. Investigate the cause of alarm and rectify
if possible. T he list provides help in identifying faults that can often be rectified without the assistance of
specially trained personnel.
NOTE!

Powersupplyfailure. Checkthepowersupplytotheunit.Theunithasstopped. Thedisplaywindowisnotlit.
Afuse and/orcircuit breakerhas
tripped.
Investigate thecauseofthefault and rectify.
Reset the fuseand circuit breaker. Ifthe fault
re-occurs,contact Muntersservice.
Dehumidificationis notrequired. Checkifthe current humidity level is lowerthan
the setpoint.
Check the function bysetting the setpoint
lowerthantheactualhumidityvalueandnoting
whethertheunitstarts.
Verifythatthevaluegivenbythehumidity
sensor iscorrect.
The unit is in AUTOmodeandhas
stopped.
The display window is lit.
Remotestartnotconnected. Check the wirejumper on theremote start
circuit.
Theredalarmlamponthe
controlpanelis lit. Thefollowing
textis shown on the display:
–Modbuscomm Communicationfaultstothe
frequencyconverter.
Stopthe unit via themode switch and restart.
Resetthealarm.
–ReactFan Fault Low powersupply. Check flows,fanmotor and circuitbreaker.
Remedyanyfaults, reset the circuit breaker.
–Process Fan Fault Lowpowersupply. Checkflows, fanmotorandcircuitbreaker.
Remedyanyfaults, reset the circuit breaker.
Drive belt error. Check the tension and conditionof thedrive
belt.
–RotorDrive Fault
Drive motoroverheating;rotor
runs with difficulty.
Check the motor,drive and rotorseals. Reset
the circuit breaker.
Theunithasstopped.
–DamperOpen/closeFault Damperactuatorerror. Check actuatorand gears.
