Basic copy functions
Selecting paper in the bypass tray

Load paper into the bypass tray.
For details, see “Loading paper into the bypass tray” in the User’s Guide.

Load the document.

Press the mode change key to change to copy mode.
Set the document type, as necessary. For details, see “Setting the document type” (page 1-7).

Press [Paper].

Select “Bypass”, and press [Enter].
•In this display sample, the optional second cassette is installed.
•When the correct paper size is displayed at “Bypass”, proceed to step 9.

Press <Advanced>.

Select “Bypass”, and press [Enter].

Select paper loaded into the bypass tray, and press [Enter].
