→ Push the mounting rod at the other end through the appropriate hole in the side plate
and secure it with a new split pin

Replacing the rear rubber guard
→ Lower the mulcher, remove it from the tractor, bring it into a horizontal position and
support it with the support leg.
→ Remove the screws clamping the holding strip to the rubber guard.
→ Remove both the holding strip and the damaged rubber guard.
→ Position the new multi-layered original rubber guard with the two sets of holes in
the rubber guard in alignment with the holes in the mulcher housing so that the
securing screws can be reinserted.
→ Then realign the holding strip from outside against the rubber guard.
→ Reinsert and tighten the screws.
Extensive overhaul work and other work that has not been included in this maintenance
manual should generally only be carried out by trained mechanics in a specialised
workshop.
Should it be necessary to carry out welding work on the mulcher or the tractor, please remember to
remove the alternator and battery first to prevent possible damage from voltage overload.
Use the correct tools for all work, along with safety shoes, fitting overalls and, if appropriate,
gloves.

Disposing of the mulcher at the end of its life
Ater many years of use even a good high quality mulcher will reach the end of its life. If this is the
case please dispose of the mulcher correctly to prevent damage to the environment.
Almost all the materials found on the mulcher are recyclable and can be recovered.
