choice) is audio communication through the relay part of a SIP server. The
inconvenience of this method is that delays will be incurred in the communication as the audio
communication passes through the relay server. This method is used when a direct communication
cannot be established due to NAT/ Firewall restrictions.
To set the different parameters for the VoIP communication click on the settings button of the
transmission screen next to the mode selection: there are various screens in the transmission menu
described below.
Alias: Machine name / identifier as seen by third parties
Username: This name is given by the SIP provider
Password: Provided by the SIP provider
Server: Name of the chosen SIP server. If this is left blank, the Nagra
Seven
does not connect
to a SIP server and only direct connections are possible.
