Why are the flames too large on my Napoleon Altitude X Indoor Fireplace?
    • R
      Ryan HobbsJul 25, 2025
If the flames on your Napoleon Indoor Fireplace are consistently too large or too small, and carboning occurs, there may be a blockage in the vent. Remove any blockage present. In very cold conditions, ice may build up on the terminal; remove it as needed. To prevent recurrence, wrap vent lengths in unheated spaces (attics, garages, crawl spaces) with an insulated mylar sleeve. Another cause may be incorrect installation. Refer to the venting section to ensure it's correctly installed.
