If the pilot is burning but no gas is going to the main burner on your Napoleon Indoor Fireplace, even with the gas knob on ‘HI’ and the wall switch/thermostat on, you should first purge the gas line. Check if you're out of propane. If not, turn up the pilot flame, and check the thermocouple for shorts or faults by loosening and tightening it, cleaning the connection to the valve. If problems persist, replace the thermocouple or valve. Test the thermostat/switch by using a jumper wire across the terminals. Check the wall switch wiring for defects. Clear any blockage in the main burner orifice. Replace the valve if faulty. Ensure the gas piping isn't undersized by observing the pilot flame when other appliances ignite.
