      Cheyenne TorresAug 21, 2025
If your appliance isn’t performing any functions, there might be no power to the system. Check the breaker to ensure it’s in the “on” position. Also, check the position of the 3 position switch on the battery holder (including switch) and ensure it is in the remote position (middle). Check the battery power and battery orientation, the battery holder, battery holder (including switch) and/or remote control might not be operational.

      Christopher FranklinAug 25, 2025
If the burner comes on when the battery holder (including switch) is in the 'off' position, the remote control and/or battery holder (including switch) might not be functioning properly, so replace the batteries. It could also be an error with synchronizing, so reset the battery holder (including switch) and remote control. Check if the battery holder (including wall switch) is mounted upside down and reverse it. Check for a ground (short) and repair the ground or replace the wire if the battery holder (including switch) and/or wire is grounding. Replace the faulty wire.

How to remove white/grey film from the glass of my Napoleon Indoor Fireplace?
    • W
      William ArcherSep 3, 2025
The white or grey film is likely sulphur from the fuel being deposited on the glass, logs, or surfaces. Clean the glass with a recommended gas fireplace glass cleaner, but do not clean the glass when it is hot. If sulphur deposits are not cleaned off regularly, the glass may become permanently marked.
