Why is there a white/grey film on the glass of my Napoleon Ascent X?
    • P
      Peter RayAug 28, 2025
The white or grey film forming on the glass is sulphur from the fuel being deposited on the glass, logs, or surfaces. Clean the glass with a recommended gas fireplace glass cleaner. Do not clean the glass when it is hot. If sulphur deposits are not cleaned off regularly, the glass may become permanently marked.
