supply, e.g. the charger of your smartphone. The necessary char-
ging cable is included. Prerequisite for using the tent mode is that
the APPCON is not in deep sleep.
Note deep sleep mode: The APPCON goes into a deep sleep mode
after 2 weeks of non-use and switches off. No more LED ashes.
No status is reported via Bluetooth. Mounted on the wheel, the AP-
PCON 3000 wakes up again as soon as the wheel moves. It also
wakes up automatically if you connect a USB power supply unit via
the USB charging cable supplied.
To wake up e.g. in a tent (assuming the APPCON is not in deep
sleep) you have to move the built-in magnet of the round plug to
the engraving (wake me up here). This activates a magnetic switch.
The exact position is opposite the cable exit from the housing. It is
helpful to know this as you cannot see the engraving through the
carbon protective cover. This sounds more complicated now. Sim-
ply swipe the built-in magnet of the round plug over the wake-up
position on the case. The success of the wake-up is indicated by
the ashing of the LED.
