1.7.1 If Contents in DVD-ROM (CD-ROM) Cannot be Read
- Confirm that the LED of the DVD-ROM device lights in green.
- Confirm that a medium is correctly placed.
- Check if data is correctly recorded on the DVD-ROM.
- Confirm that the DVD-ROM correctly functions
1.7.2 Data Reading from and Writing to Floppy Disk is Available
- Confirm that a floppy disk is set to the floppy disk drive.
→ Insert the floppy disk up to the position where clicking sound generates.
- Confirm that no write protection is made.
→ Set the write protect switch notch to write enabled position.
- Check if formatting have already been made.
→ Use a formatted floppy disk or format the inserted floppy disk. For how to format,
refer to the manual that comes with the OS.
- Confirm that a cable is connected to the USB connector.
