About t he LED lam ps
LED lam ps are sensit ive t o stat ic electricity and surge voltage, which m ay dam age t heir com ponents
and decrease their reliability.
Take m easures against st atic elect ricity during the inst allat ion. Do not t ouch t he LED display areas.
The LED lam ps m ay absorb and hold m oisture during t he LED m odule inst allat ion or if not used for
a long t im e. Therefore, in such cases, the bright ness m ust be increased gradually during a break- in
period before set ting t he norm al bright ness.
I f the LED lam ps are lit wit h 100% brightness while m oisture is retained, t he tem perat ure will rise very
quickly and t he wat er inside t he lam ps will evaporat e and expand. This will cause the encapsulat ing
resin t o expand, which m ay lead t o separation of t he boundary surface inside t he LED lam ps. This
separat ion can cause t he LED lam ps not t o light up properly.

After a break- in period of approxim ately 3 hours, t he LED m odule can be used under norm al
condit ions.
