Getting Started
Task Manager
The Task manager shows the running applications and
allows you to switch tasks. It also allows you to quit
applications.
1 From the Idle screen, tap ` "Manage apps" `
"RUNNING".
2 Tap the application to display.
To stop running, tap "STOP" ` "OK".
Note
• Running more than one application may consume more
energy. Doing so may cause applications to be terminated
forcibly or slow down.
Text Entry
Tap a text box on the screen to display the on-screen
keyboard.
■ QWERTY keyboard
This keyboard uses a PC keyboard layout.
Also, you can tap ` to select a keyboard.
■ 10-key keypad
Depending on the screen, this appears to enter numbers
such as phone number.

• For keyboard settings, from the Idle screen, tap `
"System settings" ` "Language & input" ` "XT9 Text Input"
(P.46).
