Calling
Making a Call
1 From the Idle screen, tap .
2 Enter the phone number.
If you enter a wrong number, tap to delete the
number.
3 Tap to start the call.
To adjust the call volume, press the ▲ / ▼ keys.
4 To finish the call, tap .
■ Entering a push tone (pause)
In step 2, tap ` "Add 2-sec pause" / "Add wait".
Note
• If you have set PIN1 code entry and Airplane mode, you need
to enter the PIN1 code to make an emergency call.
For information about PIN1 code, see P.49.
Operations during a call
During a call, following icons appears on the screen.
; adds the entered number to the contact, or invites
other party to the call
;puts the other party on the speaker.
;mutes your voice to the other party.
; holds the call.
; records the call.
Making an international call
1 From the Idle screen, tap .
2 Touch and hold "0" to enter "+".
3 Enter the country / region code ` area code (city
code) ` recipient's phone number.
If the area code begins with "0", omit "0". However,
"0" may be required for calling some countries or
areas, such as Italy.
4 Tap .
5 To finish the call, tap .
Changing calling settings
1 From the phone screen, tap ` "Settings".
2 Tap the item to set.
