Gmail
Gmail is an email service provided by Google. You can
use Gmail to send and receive email. For more details on
setting a Google account, see P.20.
From the application list screen, tap "Gmail".
The "Inbox" screen appears. Any received Gmail is
displayed in the "Inbox".
■ Switching a Google account
Tap the account ` select an account to display.
Displaying Gmail
From the "Inbox" screen, tap a message thread.
■ Replaying to Gmail
Ta p ` enter a message ` .
To reply all members, tap "Reply" ` "Reply All". For more
details about sending, refer to 'Changing Gmail settings'.
■ Forwarding Gmail
Tap "Reply" ` "Forward" ` enter the forwarding email
address in "To" ` . For more details about sending,
refer to 'Changing Gmail settings'.
■ Deleting Gmail
Ta p .
Also, you can tap to delete checked box message
from the "Inbox" screen.
■ Searching Gmail
From the "Inbox" screen, tap ` enter a keyword ` .
■ Displaying Gmail by label
From the "Inbox" screen, tap ` type of label to display.
To label a message, see 'Managing message threads'.
■ Refreshing the "Inbox"
From the "Inbox" screen, tap .
Creating and sending Gmail
1 From the "Inbox" screen, tap .
2 Enter each item.
3 Tap .
Before step 3, you can also set a following item for
the sending message by tapping .
• "Attach file"
•"Add Cc/Bcc"
• "Save draft"
•"Discard"
• "Settings"
• "Help"
• "Send feedback"
Managing message threads
1 From the "Inbox" screen, check the boxes.
2 Select any icon.
•; stores the message. Stored message threads
are not displayed in the "Inbox".
•; deletes a message thread.
• ; adds or changes the label of a message thread.
•; displays a message thread as opened /
unopened.
•;
-"Add star" / "Remove star"
- "Mark important" / "Mark not important"
-"Mute"; hides the message thread from "Inbox".
- "Report spam"; displays the report of deleted
thread by Google as spam.
■ Managing the label
From the "Inbox" screen, tap ` "MANAGE LABELS" `
select an item to change.
Note
• Labels cannot be created on this product. Create labels on
the Gmail website.
Changing Gmail settings
1 From the "Inbox" screen, tap ` "Settings" `
"General settings".
Tap an account instead of "General settings" to
change an account setting.
2 Select a following item to set.
• "Confirm before deleting"
• "Confirm before archiving"
• "Confirm before sending"
• "Reply all"
•"Auto-advance"
•"Message text size"
• "Hide checkboxes"
•"Message actions"
• "Clear search history"
• "Hide pictures in messages"
