2-9-2. Draining the Coolant
Preparation: Phillips head screwdriver (No.2), container

Remove the screw for securing the cover with a Phillips head screwdriver and remove the
cover.
Pull out the drain port.

Place a container for receiving the coolant under the drain port.
(Amount of coolant: About 12 liters at maximum)

Open the valve of the drain port and drain the coolant in the tank.

Close the valve of the drain port.

Put the drain port back in place and mount the cover by reversing the procedure for removing
it.
