CHAPTER 4 OFFICE DATA DESIGN
• Announcement trunk
The DAT card is used for the announcement trunk and messages are recorded in the DAT. DAT cards are
mounted in universal slots in the PIR. It is not necessary to install the MDF when using the DAT.
• PA-4DATA (DAT)
The message is recorded for the maximum of 4 circuits. The designated timer (mode), which set by the
switch of the DAT card, decides the number of trunk to be used.
• How to record using DAT

1. The figure below shows the announcement message modes of PA-DATA used in the ACD system. Desig-
nate one of the following three modes by the switch setting of DAT card.
