CHAPTER 2 MIGRATION PROCEDURE
For Multiple Unit Configuration and Remote
Unit System
Start
Open SV8300 PCPro and connect to the SV8300 Unit 01. [Required Time: About 1 minute]
From the system menu select System Data Save/Load/Verify. Then click Save and select All system data +
All service memory + Registration data by MAC authentication + DBM data (SRAM) to save all system data
in SV8300. (See the SV8300 PC Programming Manual.) [Required Time: About 15 minutes]
Confirm the IP address information and the Unit Number of each of the Units 01-04 and Remote Unit.
[Required Time: About 5 minutes]
NOTE: Confirm the IP address information of the maintenance ports and the VoIP ports as below.
- Maintenance port IP address (CM0B Y=0xx>00)
- Maintenance port subnet mask (CM0B Y=0xx>01)
- Maintenance port default gateway (CM0B Y=0xx>02)
- VoIP port IP address (CM0B Y=1xx>00)
- VoIP port subnet mask (CM0B Y=1xx>01)
- VoIP port default gateway (CM0B Y=1xx>02)
- Unit number (CM0B Y=000>90)

Confirm the Unit Number of Secondary Unit
registered to the SV8300 (CM0B Y=001>141)
by using SV8300 PCPro.
