Dissolve 125 ml of descaling agent* per
500 ml of cold water.
Do not use hot water!
*Durgol® recommended to use for descaling agent
Pour descaling solution into water
tank. Insert water tank to machine.

Remove drip tray. Place a container with
a capacity of at least 500 ml under the
coee outlet. Take water tank out.

Espresso icon and power button ligh-
ts up steady green. Touch Espresso
icon to start descaling process (icon
starts flashing green).
Descaling solution is discharged:
First from high velocity hot water jet,
then from coee outlet. Throw away
water from container.
To enter the descaling mode, start
with machine o, then press on
Espresso icon & power button for
7seconds. All menu icons start flash-
ing. Release the icons.

If you don’t descale your machine according to the following recommendations issues and
even break down could happen. We recommend to descale your machine depending on water
hardness and consumption but at least twice a year (see table below).
Water hardness Descaling after ... cups
Hard water 300 ppm 250 cups
Medium 180 ppm 500 cups
Soft 80 ppm 750 cups
Read instructions and safety infor-
mation on packaging of descaling
agent.
Do not wash surface of machine
using descaling agent.
