Click on the “Connection Status” button to display the connection status, as shown below.

This screen shows the following statistics:.
W ireless P ort These param eters ap p ly to the W ireless port of the rou ter.
M AC Address This field displays the M edia Access Control address being used by the
W ireless p ort of th e rou ter.
N ame (SSID ) This field displays the wireless network name (SSID ) being used by the
wireless port of the router. The default is N ETGEAR.
R egion This field displays the geographic region where the router being used. It
may be illegal to use the wireless features of the router in some parts of
th e world .
Channel Identifies the channel of the wireless port being used. See “W ireless
Channels” on page D-7 for the frequencies used on each channel.

Item Description
IP Address The WAN (Internet) IP Address assigned to the router.
Subnet M ask The WAN (Internet) Subnet M ask assigned to the router.
