This document describes the NETUM 2.4G Wireless CCD/2D SCANNER, a device designed for barcode scanning with various connectivity and configuration options.
The NETUM scanner is a versatile device capable of reading both CCD and 2D barcodes wirelessly via a 2.4G USB dongle or wired via a USB cable. It is factory-programmed with common terminal and communication settings, but offers extensive customization through barcode programming. The scanner supports different working modes, including a normal mode for real-time data transmission and a store mode for offline data collection.
1. Connection Ways: * 2.4G USB Dongle: 1. Plug the USB dongle into your device. 2. Power on the scanner. 3. Ensure the correct keyboard language is set (US keyboard is default). * Wireless transmit is enabled by default (scan "%#IFSN0$1" if needed). * USB Cable: 1. Plug one end of the USB cable into the scanner's bottom and the other into your device. 2. Ensure the correct keyboard language is set (US keyboard is default). * USB HID-KBW (Default): Simulates USB keyboard input, plug-and-play, no driver required (scan "$USB#KEY" if needed). * USB COM Port Emulation: Allows data reception as a serial port. Requires a driver (scan "$USB#COM" to enable).
2. Keyboard Language Configuration:
* The scanner's output can be configured to match various keyboard layouts.
* To change, scan the corresponding barcode:
* $LAN#EN (America EN keyboard - default)
* $LAN#FR (French keyboard)
* $LAN#GE (Germany keyboard)
* $LAN#IT (Italy keyboard)
* $LAN#PT (Portugal keyboard)
* $LAN#ES (Spain keyboard)
* $LAN#UK (UK keyboard)
* $LAN#HU (Hungary keyboard)
* $LAN#TK (Turkey Q keyboard)
* $LAN#TF (Turkey F keyboard)
3. Working Modes: * Normal Mode (Default): Data is transmitted in real-time to the connected device. (Scan "*Normal Mode" to enable). * Store Mode: For use outside Bluetooth signal range. Scanned data is stored in the scanner's buffer memory and can be uploaded manually later. (Scan "Store Mode" to enable). * Output Stored Data: Uploads all data saved in store mode. * Clear Memory: Deletes all stored data. * Output Total Entry: Displays the total number of entries stored. * Note: In Store Mode, the scanner beeps twice when memory is full.
4. Idle Time Settings:
* Configures the time before the scanner enters sleep mode.
* $POWER#OFF (Power Off)
* $RF#ST00 (0 Min)
* $RF#ST20 (10 Mins)
* $RF#ST60 (30 Mins)
5. Convert Case:
* Controls the case of scanned data.
* * Disable Convert Case (Default)
* Up Low Case Swap (A<->a)
* All Upper Case (a->A)
* All Lower Case (A->a)
6. Beep Volume:
* Adjusts the audible feedback from the scanner.
* $BUZZ#1 (*High Volume - default)
* $BUZZ#3 (Low Volume)
* $BUZZ#0 (Mute)
7. Function Key Mapping:
* When enabled, function characters are sent over the keypad.
* $KEY#MO (*Disable Function Key Mapping - default)
