Theory of Operation
The RNS
®
Neurostimulator and implanted intracranial leads are designed to monitor electrical activity
of the brain and deliver therapy in the form of electrical stimulation when appropriate. The
neurostimulator is implanted in the patient and communicates with the programmer (and remote
monitor).
