TROUBLESHOOTING CHART
Problem Cause Solution
Cannot Save a Bookmark Time is running Turn time off before saving a bookmark
Horn does not sound when time has
expired
Auto horn is turned off Enable the auto horn (SET HORN YES)
Timer counts in wrong direction Timer direction is set wrong
Use SET OPTIONS to change timer
direction
Cannot subtract from score Score keys will add only
Use SET then score key and enter the
correct score directly
Time is counting but the period is wrong Wrong period entered during setting time
Press SET TIME NO and enter the correct
period number
Cannot clear Time Out Timer from
scoreboard without sounding horn (teams
are ready to play)
Clearing the Time Out Timer forces it to
drop to the warning time which sounds the
warning horn
Before the game, set up another Time Out
Timer that does not have a warning time
and does not display on scoreboard. ---
interrupt the unneeded Timer with this one
and then clear it.
Main clock is counting up.
Tenth second will not show when main
time is counting up
Tenth second has been disabled
The control must be turned off and then
restarted
Tenth second does not show on scoreboard
Time is above one minute Be patient
CHRONOMETER will not display on
scoreboard when I press
CHRONOMETER
CHRONOMETER key is not enabled Use SET CHRONOMETER to enable it
Aux time is displayed on the auxiliary
time display, but it is not counting
Hours and minutes are being displayed.
The display will change only once each
minute
Minutes and seconds will be displayed
during the last hour of remaining time
