What to do if my Nevco Scoreboard MPCX2 will not operate scoreboard (Out of Range)?
    • B
      barberleslieAug 13, 2025
If your Nevco Controller says 'Out of Range', it might be due to a poor connection, a blocked line of sight to the scoreboard, or excessive distance. Try moving closer to the scoreboard, ensuring a clear line of sight. Also, verify the signal strength and run the Network Analyzer to assess the connection. If this doesn't solve the issue, try turning the controller off and on again.

What to do if the Nevco Scoreboard will not turn ON when the Controller is turned ON?

      Jessica WilsonAug 16, 2025
If your Nevco Scoreboard doesn't turn on when the controller is on, there could be several reasons. First, the receiver might not be working or the receiver/scoreboard isn't powered up, so cycle the power to them. It could also be a weak control signal, which you can check in the Options menu. Other possible causes include low batteries (replace them), the controller being poorly located (ensure a clear line of sight to the scoreboard), the controller being linked to unwanted receivers (check this in the Options menu), or the controller not being linked to the scoreboard (link it via the Options Menu). As a last resort, power the controller off and on again.

      Patricia PattersonAug 20, 2025
If the Nevco scoreboard or timer is on but isn't responding to the controller, it's likely that the control and receiver aren't communicating. Try turning the controller off and then on again to re-establish the connection.

What to do if my Nevco Controller is ON but the scoreboard/timer is OFF, even though data is changing on the Controller?
    • S
      scottwallaceAug 25, 2025
If your Nevco controller is on and showing data changes, but the scoreboard or timer remains off, the issue could be a lack of power to the scoreboard. Check all switches, breakers, and fuses. Alternatively, there might be a bad connection between the receiver and the scoreboard module, so inspect all cables and connections.

What to do if the Nevco Scoreboard is ON but the Controller is OFF?
    • B
      Becky FrenchAug 28, 2025
If the Nevco scoreboard is on but the controller is off, it could be due to the batteries being removed while the scoreboard was on, or the batteries being completely discharged while the scoreboard was on. Install fresh batteries and power on the controller. You can also try turning the scoreboard off and on again.

    • L
      Lisa HarrisonSep 1, 2025
If you can't set the time on your Nevco controller, it's probably because the time is currently running. You need to stop the time first before you can set it.

Why I cannot turn the time ON on my Nevco Controller?
    • R
      Rebecca FernandezSep 5, 2025
If you can't turn the time on with your Nevco controller, it might be because the time is at 0.0 and set to count down. To fix this, set some time on the clock first.

What to do if not all Nevco Controllers of a multi-control scoreboard system will operate the scoreboard?
    • L
      lopezantonioSep 8, 2025
If not all Nevco controllers in a multi-control scoreboard system are operating the scoreboard, it's likely that multiple controllers were powered on simultaneously and not all connected correctly. Power cycle the controllers that aren't operating the scoreboard.
